International Scientific Conference on the occasion of 100th Anniversary of Applied Geology at AGH University of Science and Technology will review the current status of scientific methods and approaches applied in exploration and exploitation of major mineral and energy resources, with emphasis on risk assessment and environmental impact of those activities. Applications of new geophysical methods and methodologies, as well as interesting case studies based on Polish and worldwide data will be presented. One of the conference topics will be the effective use of renewable energy resources, with emphasis on geothermal energy.
